Aspiring Novelist's Pledge

I pledge allegiance to the task of writing a best selling novel, and to the public for whom it's written, one statement, at a time, enthralling readers, with excitement and pleasure for all.

What's your pledge?

  2. Well, I like yours. Hrm, let's see:

I pledge allegiance to my computer chair, office and computer, wherein I will sit, focus, write, create, all without shirking my other duties.

  13. Hi Jeff,

My pledge is to continue towards my goals in small, realistic portions. And my pledge is to be of as much support as I can to others in the blogging community, to published writers and to aspiring writers. Keep the dream alive and the passion, the magic of the written word shall be your driving force along with this positive environment.

    Fulfilling writing, your way,

    Gary

  15. Nice pledge! For now, mine is to revise a novel as thoroughly as I can and then self-publish it. Regardless of whether it's a best-seller or not.

    1. Fantastic pledge! Revising can be tougher than writing for most folks. Personally, I find whichever I'm doing at the time to be the most difficult though. LOL

My pledge is to continue being dedicated to my artwork and never quit it, like I had temporarily done a few years back...
