Happy Easter!

Just a brief post to wish everyone a Happy Easter!

Of course, any excuse for a holiday from work is okay in my book.  But this holiday not only permits grandparents to fill tiny little bellies with sweets, it encourages it!  Then we get to send the little hyperactive road runners home with their parents!

How awesome is that?

So, whether you're stuffing yourself or your grandchildren with chocolate, do enjoy!  And accept my sincerest wishes of a happy holiday for you and yours!

  2. You too, Jeff! We've got snow today which is not very Easterish, but at least I've got chocolate. (:

    1. Easter snow? I've heard there is a petition to fire Groundhog Phil for lying this year. But with chocolate in hand, it's all good!

  3. Happy Easter to you too!

We're mostly avoiding the candy this Easter as I have yet to find any chocolate bunnies that my son can eat (dairy allergy) Jelly beans it is.

    1. For me, the only worse food allergy would be breads (followed closely by chocolate). Enjoy the jelly beans!

  4. Happy Easter, Jeff. May the Peeps go down easily (and eventually digest).

  7. The placement of pictures in this post totally makes it look like the grandparents over did it and killed the kids... ;)

  10. Ah Jeff,

Yes, I know you've been eagerly awaiting a comment from me. "Where's that Gary been?"

Anyway, you have a fantastic Easter. Of course, being in Britain, I shall be eating real chocolate. Not that 'glorified wax' y'all get there! LOL

    Gary :)

    1. I'm always wondering where you've been, Gary! And I always eagerly await your comments! Apparently, I don't know what "real chocolate" is, but I must admit that I'm rather fond of the "glorified wax". :)

  12. Haha, so wrong! Then again, I'll feel the same way when I'm the grandparent instead of the parent. I do feel that way about being an aunt, too. Happy Easter!

  13. Happy Easter to you Jeff. We haven't given the kids any candy yet, but we tried out our new fondue machine. Melted chocolate, of course. So the kids got more than their fill of chocolate today. Hmmm... I wonder what will happen to the leftovers?

    1. Chocolate is always best when served melted. And yes, the fate of the leftovers is definitely uncertain. LOL
