I don't know to whom that little nugget of wisdom should be credited. Although it came from my noggin, it may have originated in some other truly wise noggin first. (Most profound proverbs usually do.) In any event, I blame Rain Laaman for triggering it. I read her Hypothetical Day post on Rain-On Sentence today and commented.
