Friend and (nearly) neighbor, Odessa Black, invited me over to her blog. She pried from me my secret. I had a bit of lighthearted fun revealing said secret in the post.
Stop by and say "hi" if you've got the notion. I'd love to see you there!
I'm glad you're having fun with your muse. After sitting on my muse, reinforcements were called and not by the dragon. S.E.A.L muses infiltrated the cave and dwarves surrendered to bribery. Now muses amuse themselves in a sort of bacchanalia of creativity. Two ears are not enough to understand them, for they all speak at the same time and they are loud like tribal drums. No one goes out, no one can get in. They're coming...
There are but a few people who can consistently tickle my funny bone and make me chuckle. You, my muse squashing dragon, are one of those few. There is no better end to a grueling day at the office than a genuine belly laugh. Thank you!
That post was heaps of fun to write! Though I'm always a little hesitant about letting that type of post be published for the world to see. I'd hate for people (especially those who don't know me well) to misinterpret and think I'm some delusional ego maniac. My "muse" posts are usually just attempts at delivering a message with a bit of humor.
I know what you mean about being hesitant. I often am with some of my posts, since my humor can be hit-or-miss for people. But "muse" posts are always fun, IMO, so anyone who doesn't get them clearly takes things too seriously!
I enjoyed that clever post, Jeff. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda. It was fun. :)
DeleteFun little tale. Left a comment there. :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read it! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteYou are like celebrity blogger! On my way over.
ReplyDeleteLittle ol' me? Nah, some bloggers just have temporary lapses in judgement and turn me loose in their corner of cyberspace. LOL
