Nothing sucks time like a black hole |
It rendered me a man out of time.
But now things are looking brighter and I shall not despair.
Thanksgiving approaches and my trousers have room to spare!
On Thursday, that black hole I shall imitate.
And gobble every last thing that lands on my plate!
Hate those roaming black holes!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely need the article on book titles. Not my strong suit.
Maybe I need the opposite of a black hole, something that would give more time rather than take it away. And I think your titles are cool.
DeleteElements of voice is interesting but to me, it's a dreadful search. In Spanish I can pinpoint different diction alright. In English...*maniac laughter* I think I'll let the Force guide me for now.
ReplyDeleteI think the Force has been guiding you quite well. What you've created in a foreign tongue is nothing short of amazing.
DeleteOk! I demand to know where I can find some of those dwarves for my staff. Mine are not nearly half that good looking.
ReplyDeleteI think you have to contract through Hollywood to get your pick(s) of the lot. My guess is they aren't cheap.
DeleteHere's to a good Thanksgiving dinner! Hope your pants are tight afterward. :) I will be wearing stretchy materials.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope they're not too tight afterward! My wife's been trying to fatten me up though. She says she tired of shopping in the kiddies department to find my pants. (A 30" waist is not kiddie size, right?)
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving, and don't overeat.
ReplyDeleteNo promises on the overeating, but I'll do my best. And a happy Thanksgiving backatcha.
DeleteMy Sunday was sucked into the black hole that is Create Space formatting.
ReplyDeleteWatching Hobbit tv spots was much more fun.
eew, that's worse than editing. ;-) Watching Hobbits is definitely more fun. I hope the formatting is going well though!
DeleteGreat links, and hey, thanks for the shout-out. Much obliged. As for Hobbits, that is a new pursuit for me. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're most welcome, Julie! Hobbits are wonderful folk!
DeleteHi, Jeff,
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you. Interesting links.
I see you're planning to make good use of the time you'll gain during the holiday. ;)
Welcome! And thanks. I try to find some good articles each week. I'm hoping time is all I'll gain over the holiday, but with the way my wife cooks....
DeleteYay for spare room. I better get busy.
ReplyDeleteLibby may have the right idea about wearing stretchy materials. No point in bothering with belts or other constrictive garments over Thanksgiving, right? :)
DeleteGreat links! The one on CAPTCHA is fantastic. It's embarrassing how long it takes me to deal with those sometimes! Nathan Bransford's post was also very informative. I remember reading it earlier this week...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, that sucks about the black hole! I hate it whenever one sneaks into my life, too. Hope you have a happy Thanksgiving! :)
Yeah, those black holes refuse to be ignored. They steal almost as much time from me as those Captchas do. ;-)
Deleteget out of that blackhole...surf the wave and hope awaits you! great links as always!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tammy! Hoping the universe at work doesn't collapse in on itself. It's a short week. Smooth would be a bonus. :-)
DeleteThanks for the links! Glad you escaped the black hole. Scary things.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. Frightening, terrifying, paralyzing things, those black holes are. Emerging from one though leaves me feeling a bit like Kevin Sorbo's Dylan Hunt from Andromeda. Only I'm not a captain. Or a movie star. Or rich. Well, maybe not so much like that after all. ;-)
