Kill with impact? Drop them from a really high place.
ReplyDeleteBeen reading Cherie's series.
Hope you're having a good weekend, Jeff!
Hahahaha! That was also my first thought when I read the title of the post.
DeleteI expected more creativity from you two... My thought was to engage warp drive while the inertia dampeners were disengaged. ;-)
DeleteThe Common Manuscript mistakes, they are not just common on manuscripts. I keep seeing them everyday and they kill me. Those around me hate that about me, mostly when we're watching TV. I always start like "Yeah, right, as if...." Result. I get a storm of popcorn or murderous looks.
ReplyDeleteI do hope there's butter with the popcorn. I shudder to think how many common manuscript mistakes I make. I know for a fact I'm guilty of the very first one she mentioned.
DeleteWho doesn't? I mean, I don't think there's even one writer who writes only asserted, accurate, brilliant sentences since the very first draft. That would get another "Yeah right, as if..." from me, hahahaha.
DeleteThanks for mentioning my worldbuilding series! Great links!
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure, Cherie. I enjoyed the series.
