A Wedding to Write About

The happily married couple finally returned from their honeymoon and posted some pictures.

I probably should have warned that poor girl before she married my son, but I just couldn't help it.  You see, I'm a writer and new family means new material for my books and stories!

I have a new daughter-in-law!

And of course I've got to get my grandkids on here.
(The one behind me is the one who loves dragons!)

 A happy day for all!
May their union be strong.  May it endure.

    1. Thanks, Richard! I actually took two of those photos, believe it or not. I'm horrible at snapping nice pictures, but my son bought a camera that forgives even my unsteady hands.

  3. I know exactly what they're like. My sister got married last year. Looking at these photos brings it all back; the hard work, the tight dresses while I'm trying to sing, running down the church after the official photos to sing the recessional hymn, the blisters from the new shoes, and how happy the bride and groom were. Yup, it's all come flooding back.

Anyway, congratulations to your son and new daughter-in-law. Now go put her in a book!

That verse was definitely true when I found mine! I can't imagine life without Myra. She is so good for me in so many ways.

    1. Thanks! Yes, it is.

Marriage requires every bit as much commitment as it does love. Love precipitates commitment, but commitment strengthens love.

    1. I saw them this evening and asked them how the honeymoon was going. They said they still hadn't argued since the wedding. Ten days down and a lifetime to go! LOL
