May your surfing be sensational, your Sunday super and you week wonderful.
Write wisely!
Your final link about the real costs of self-publishing was BRILLIANT! Thank you for linking to that, Jeff, because that writer hits it on the head absolutely. The reader is king.
ReplyDeleteI found it most illuminating. And yes, the reader is king.
DeleteSome very good links. Enjoyed them all. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Richard.
DeleteGoogle+ beats Facebook? Knew there was a reason I'm not on Facebook!
ReplyDeleteYour resolute will is unceasingly impressive, Alex. :)
DeleteHey Jeff, post that comma cartoon on FB, it would go down well with some of my friends.
ReplyDeleteDone. Hope they enjoy it.
DeleteThat comma cartoon is my whole writing life.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links. I visit every Sunday to see what you've dug up during the week.
Thanks, Jennifer! It's nice hearing that people find the links worth reading. (And that comma probably came out of my manuscript!)
DeleteSome people don't think there are any costs when it comes to self-publishing.
ReplyDeleteEverything comes at a cost. We do ourselves no favor by ignoring it.
DeleteIs it a comma, or is it an alien apostrophe? :-)
ReplyDeleteIt could be both. Its identity crisis counseling session probably follows. ;-)
DeleteSo many great links today! I especially enjoyed the Mystery vs. Suspense one, since I tend to include elements like that in my own stories. It's nice getting a better sense of which is which!
ReplyDeleteFunny how things so similar can be so subtlety different.
DeleteThanks for sharing. I'll be checking out quite a few. :-)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the cartoon.
A fun one for sure.
DeleteLove the pic, such a dilemma with commas. Thanks for another day of cool linkage.
ReplyDeleteThose commas, never where they're supposed to be. Story of my life.
DeleteSo many social media possibilities, so little time. I try to keep a toe in the waters though. Thanks for the great links.
ReplyDeleteToo many possibilities, I think sometimes.
DeleteAwesome resources as usual.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nicole.
DeleteHi Jeff,
ReplyDeleteYes sir, I'm fashionably late to your party. You sure do find some interesting links. 'Farcebook', enough said. However, the one thing I really hate about Google+ is the number of bloggers who are now using it. It makes for a mystery tour to get to their site, when all I want to do is go comment. Comma comedian cartoon, me thinks.
A peaceful week to you, Jeff.
Gary
Yeah, they're going to have to find a way to make finding blogs easier via Google+. Sometimes folks will list them in their About/Profile, but not always.
DeleteAnd you got me tickled with the cartoon comment. I started singing "comma comma comma comedian" LOL
I'll have to check those out!
ReplyDeleteYes you will. There are some good ones in that batch. :)
DeleteI've been wondering if Google plus helps with marketing. I'm still trying to figure it out, but it seems more popular now than Facebook
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely growing in popularity.
DeleteHi Jeff, these links are great, thank you so much :)
