It's Okay to Freak Out Once in a While

Sir Jeff has been busy this week (surprise, surprise!) trying to complete a short story. I admittedly made no progress on it Saturday. My brother and I had a Game of Thrones season 3 marathon Saturday. Excellent show!

And my short story, The Watcher, appearing in Seers: Ten Tales of Clairvoyance is now available! I'll draft a decent post during the coming week, but if you'd like to read about the ten contributors, check out Carole Ann Moleti's post.

    1. Have you read the books, Jo? Can't remember if I already asked you that. Almost caught up incorporating input from a certain, very astute reader. :)

    1. It was my pleasure, Anne. And thanks! I do recommend a marathon for each season. They flow so well together when watched back to back. Otherwise, the more subtle things aren't noticed.

  6. Congratulations on the anthology! You're the second person I've come across today that's got a story out in an anthology. Thanks for the Sunday links. And are your eyes recovering from the GOT marathon yesterday? (:

    1. Thanks, Elise. Good news often comes in bunches. My eyes have recovered, but there is still numbness in my left arm.

  7. Congratulations!!! Good you had fun with your marathon yesterday. I wish my weekend was nearly as fun. I think I'll eat popcorn to make up for that.

    1. I didn't consider popcorn. Should have. It was a lot of fun though.

  8. So many posts I need to check out.

Thanks for the linkage on the Bible rejection. I love getting play from things I "borrow" from the internet. :)

Congrats on the short story. That's wonderful!!

    1. Definitely worth the feet falling asleep, cricks in your neck, bulging eyes, and worth all that bad food (that tastes so good) too. Everyone should try it, just for the experience. :)

  12. Congrats on your story! I've been dying to start a Game of Thrones marathon but I just know it's going to suck me in and I'm going to forget about my manuscript and everything else. :D

    1. It will definitely suck you in and pull you away from other projects. There are times however, that the diversion can prove beneficial. But don't dare forget about that manuscript!

  14. Greetings Jeff,

Humble apologies n'stuff for my delay in leaving a comment. Like your good self, I've been ever so busy.

That is totally awesome that you have a short story ready to be checked out. Shall have a gander. And no, I didn't mean anything relating to a goose. I'm on the wrong site for that! :)

    1. It's easy to squander writing time on pretty much anything, but doing it on social media is too easy. And thanks!

  19. Congrats on your story! I too, have been sucked into Game of Thrones marathons. Got my little brother into the story, then I had to stay and watch all the seasons with him until he was caught up!!

  20. Congratulations on having your story included in the anthology. And thanks for the links above. I found them quite interesting, especially the one about platform building (since, frankly, I don't do a lot of it.)

    1. Thanks, Misha. It seems all I've had time to do (blog-related) is gather links. I really need to set aside some time to finish the four-dozen posts I've started. :)
